Ministry Teams

SHBC is devoted to accomplishing all God has put forth according to His Word. In order to do this most effectively, we have created a Church Council of representatives from each major purpose of the church. Church members and attenders are encouraged to match their spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities with an area of our church's ministry for which they feel called or are interested in or at least can do. Keep in mind that teaching and leadership positions are reserved for church members.

In order for you to learn more about what each purpose team or task does, click Description of Teams and Services 2011-2012, and prayerfully consider how you might be involved. When you are finished, take time to view the 2-page Commitment Form. You can print off a copy and bring it with you to church, or you can email your response to our church secretary.

We hold our volunteer campaign early each fall, but you are welcome to sign up anytime for a place of service. God bless you for your willingness to serve!
